Wow I cant believe its been 3 years since ive last blogged. How time flies. So much has happened in my life.
First of all, my baby boy has grown up before my eyes. There isn't a day that goes by, that I dont wish I had those days back. Sure I have taken millions of photo's and videos, but it still doesn't fill that empty hole.
I guess I just miss those little cuddles and kisses.
So to fill in the gaps:
2011
He had his 1st Birthday. Very windy day.
He had so much fun. Was pooped by the end of the day.
2012
He had his second birthday. The weather wasn't as nice as on his 1st Birthday. Was overcast and drizzling. But he had fun and was spoilt once again.
2013
He started school - Playgroup at Umhlanga College. I am so proud of him for being so brave and excited.
The school offered Playball - which I thought I'de let him try out as he is such an active little man.
He also joined Bike Riding. At first he took his green JD Bug, but with Ian Wilson's help, we managed to get him on his Big Boy Bike. It took him a couple months to get use to it, but once he got the hang of it - oh boy there is no stopping him now!
He also turned 3. His class had a Birthday ring for him. Mommy, Daddy and Family were invited. He was very shy at first but listened to his teacher. Was very strange for me to see, because for the last 2 years I was about the only person he WOULD listen to. Nowadays, his teacher is the only person he WILL listen to :(
I had so much fun planning his birthday party this year - He just loves SUPERHERO'S, so this is the theme I went for. I didn't want to use one specific SUPERHERO as he likes all of them, and I can have so much fun with it later on. He had a blast with all his friends.
I am so so very proud of you my boy. You have come a long way, and have grown into such an amazing boy. I am one lucky Mommy to have you. I hope you will realize when you are older that everything I've done, I've done out of love for you. I have had so much fun with you, watching you go through every milestone, helping you along, and most of all JUST BEING THERE!!
2014
My little Playgroup boy started Grade 000
WOW, what a change. Such a boy. He has made new friends, taking part in new activities and just loving school.
Because he is so good on his bike, I thought we would give Bike riding a miss this year and try something new. So this year we have started Karate.
